A jury convicted Timothy Murray of murder and set his punishment at fifty-five years imprisonment and a $7,000.00 fine. Murray appeals, contending that the trial court erred by excusing a prospective juror during voir dire and by overruling his Batson motion; by allowing prejudicial argument by the prosecutor at the punishment stage of the trial; and by allowing argument about extraneous conduct. He also alleges error because the court refused his requested jury charges, denied his motion for mistrial after the State raised evidence of extraneous conduct, and failed to grant a mistrial when the prosecutor allegedly injected his personal opinion about Murrays guilt. We overrule all these contentions and affirm the judgment.
